Two committees, comprising city, county, military, and other stakeholders will guide the development of the CUP. These committees are:
Policy Committee (PC). This committee includes elected officials who represent the various counties and cities in the CUP Study Area, as well as leadership from Hill AFB. The PC is responsible for the direction of the CUP and assisting with establishing a process to monitor implementation. The PC is important for developing and maintaining relationships between key stakeholders, the communities, and the project consultant team.
Advisory Committee (AC). This committee contains representatives from local jurisdictions, agencies and organizations, and the military, as well as other stakeholders with expertise in one or more of the 25 compatibility factors that will be assessed in the CUP process. The AC identifies and addresses technical issues, provides feedback on report development, and assists in the development of implementation strategies.
